The annual well-woman visit covers: blood pressure, weight and BMI, haemoglobin and thyroid screening, blood sugar and lipids where indicated, cervical screening, breast examination and mammography referral where age-appropriate, contraception review, preconception counselling, vaccination status, and a conversation about anything you have been meaning to ask.
Adolescent gynaecology — for girls and young women with delayed or absent periods, very heavy or very painful periods, suspected PCOS, or questions about their bodies and cycles. Consultations are private and non-judgemental, and we handle them with the discretion families in Bangladesh reasonably expect. HPV vaccination advice is included.
Preconception counselling — the appointment most couples skip and shouldn’t. Folic acid, rubella and hepatitis B status, thyroid and blood sugar optimisation, review of existing medications, weight and lifestyle, and genetic risk where there is a family history or consanguinity. If conception does not follow within a reasonable time, we already know your history — see our fertility testing services.
